Week 8 ~ Kicking and trapping; dodging and fleeing
Grades 3-5 will be practicing their kicking and trapping skills and grades k-2 will be continuing to dodge and flee through our cat and mouse game.
Week 7 ~ Catching and throwing; Kicking and trapping
Grades 3-5 will be working on Catching and throwing this week and grades k-2 will be working on Kicking and trapping a ball.

Week 6 ~Throwing and catching Frisbees and Fleeing~
This Week is focused on throwing and catching a frisbee for my 3-5 classes and fleeing from a partner for my K-2 classes. Grades 3-5 will be playing a frisbee relay and K-2 will be practicing fleeing in our bird catcher game. Pictures to follow....

It's HOT! Drink more WATER!
Students are coming to my morning classes already fatigued! My solution-DRINK MORE WATER and GO TO BED EARLIER!!!!!!! Students are more than welcome to bring a hat, sunglasses and a bottle of water to my P.E. class.

Welcome! I am Coach Chalmers and I teach Physical Education at Lone Star Elementary and am very excited to share this blog with you! I hope to post our weekly activities, pictures and some ideas to try at home. My Goal is to help you become more active and have fun while helping your bodies to become stronger and more fit.
